  • The IFB talks about IP Video Distribution Equipment.  maintain existing Tanberg’s and replace all older BNI  You provide an existing Tanberg model number and number of units and ask for replacement of that or equivalent and suggestion on IP based video distribution system such as V-brick or LifeSize or equivalent. BNI Video Carts to be replace
  • The districts SLA’s are pretty aggressive.  Is the district flexible to the vendor providing their availability to your SLA requests.  Please refer to SECTION 2, Item F of the IFB for clarification.  Even though we require answer to the ITB, we welcome alternative proposals.
  • Attachment refers to renewal of smartnet.  Does the district understand that smartnet is not covered under e-rate only cisco base which will not give you the SLA’s that the district is asking for.  Yes, the district is aware of the SLD requirements.  We also understand that we can purchase an upgrade from Cisco Base to Smartnet and pay the incremental charge with local funds.  Thus, your proposal can reflect Cisco Base in one column and Smartnet in an adjacent column of your pricing spreadsheet.
